Salmon’s Commercial Moving Division began over 30 years ago with Mr. Leo Steeves. Considered an expert piano mover, Leo is well-known in the Vancouver area.

He has personally trained many members of the Salmon’s crew in the proper handling of pianos as well as other large, heavy or awkward items that other moving companies will not touch.

Salmon’s Commercial Moving Division has moved grand pianos to mountaintops, large boardroom tables down elevator shafts, and sound systems for Bryan Adams up flights of stairs.

Salmon’s has also been involved in transportation associated with the movie industry in Vancouver, having done work most notably for the films “I Robot” and “Double Jeopardy”.

Skilled providers of moving services for New Products and Trade Show Exhibits, Salmon’s experience is unsurpassed. Crews are equipped to handle large and heavy items and those requiring special handling such as, telecommunications systems, 1 hour photo equipment, office, hotel,

All of Salmon’s trucks are equipped with air ride suspension and power tailgates.

We did a local move for our customer & it turned out that her piano would not fit through the gate in the concrete fence, so instead of hiring a crane, we were able to move the piano over the fence & through the hedge, using the tailgate of the truck & some walk boards. The customer was thrilled - obviously it went very smoothly, without incident.
