The cost of moves is normally calculated on an hourly rate. The rate is based on the number of movers required. The time charged includes travel time to the client’s residence and return to the Salmon’s office upon completion of the move. Additional charges depend on the “extra” services you require. The Salmon’s team is able to provide excellent, professional packing services if desired.
Certain items such as pianos, safes, high-end antiques, artwork and marble tabletops require special handling and are considered “extras”. Please confer with the Salmon’s moving consultant for a complete accounting of all estimated charges.

Salmon’s Transfer is an agent for Atlas Van Lines in Canada, the USA and Overseas. The cost of moves is based on a number of factors including weight, distance, packing and unpacking services, storage, and third-party services such as vehicle moving, appliance servicing, etc. A Salmon’s moving consultant will be able to provide you with a comprehensive written estimate of moving costs.
